Megan Carter

DPT

Megan is a physical therapist with a passion for neurodevelopmental and orthopedic conditions. She’s part of the aquatics and outdoor PT team at ATS and is currently working toward becoming a board-certified pediatric specialist. Megan earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Radford University. She joined ATS Kids in June 2024.

Megan loves turning movement into play, whether that’s using virtual reality iPad games to build proprioception or force plates to detect asymmetries. She thrives on creative, hands-on interventions that support every stage of development. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing a kid light up with pride and say, “I did it!”

She lives in downtown Greenville with her dog, Holly, and two roommates who are also PTs. Growing up, Megan loved causing mischief with her twin sister, playing soccer, riding bikes, drawing with chalk, and jumping in bounce houses.
